Stainless Steel High Pressure NPT Thread Casting Ball Valve
1. Casting ball valve is a form of quarter-turn valve which uses a hollow, perforated and pivoting ball (called a "floating ball") to control flow through it.
2. Casting ball valve is open when the ball's hole is in line with the flow and closed when casting ball valve is pivoted 90-degrees by the casting ball valve valve handle.
3. The handle lies flat in alignment with the flow when open, and is perpendicular to casting ball valve when closed, making for easy visual confirmation of the valve's status.
Casting ball valve has the following advantages:
1. The fluid resistance is small, and its resistance coefficient is equal to that of the same length of pipe.
2. Simple structure, small volume and light weight.
3. Casting ball valve is tight and reliable. At present, the sealing surface material of casting ball valve is widely made of plastic with good sealing performance, and it has been widely used in vacuum system.
